MYTHO-POETIC SOUND JOURNEY WITH JAMES BIRD

Through Song and Poetry, James Bird will guide us on a mythological journey through ancient stories woven into emotive ethereal folk music. Mystical and heartbreakingly tender, his intention is to offer a space of refuge for the wild times we are living through. This will be an intimate listening room experience where you can lay out and simply receive. This offering is a prayer, a moment of rest, a seamless sonic journey, a dedication to the temple of the Muses. Come with friends and be nourished. 

James is a poet/musician/ceremonial bard local to Western MA. A live musician at heart, he has shared music in a diversity of spaces like festivals, farmer’s markets, funerals, wedding ceremonies, ecstatic dances and grief rituals. Myth is a central theme in Bird’s music, using ancient stories to speak to the timeless human experiences of love, loss, friendship, mystery, death and rebirth.
